Thanksgiving this year was spent in town instead of heading over the mountain to visit family.  It was extra special because we had guests over to celebrate and take us out to eat!  My Mom, Dad, and Grandmother drove over the pass to take us out for brunch at one of the local golf clubs and then with full bellies we relaxed at our place for a few hours.  What a great time we had sharing and reconnecting.  We are so blessed to have such amazing family and grateful that we live so close (only three hours away) and can visit often.  This was the only photo that actually turned out, three generations of us ladies (I guess I need to practice standing up straight!).  Poor Grandma, it was a bit chilly.

The day after Thanksgiving we had time off of work and spent the day doing absolutely nothing.  Literally.  Nothing.  We hung out on the couch, munched on food, and took naps the entire day.  It was exactly what we needed.  No black Friday shopping for us this year!  But the best part of the da…
